应急管理

千亿国际登录应急管理专业的使命是给学生提供理论知识, 实用的技能, 以及帮助从灾难的破坏性影响中拯救生命和财产所必需的责任感.

完成应急管理文学学士学位的学生应该能够:

• Understand and apply administrative, 管理, grant research and writing; leadership skills; ethics; managing projects, people and change; inter- and intra-agency coordinating, collaborating and networking.
• Demonstrate understanding of legal issues and concerns; Stafford Act and Patriot Act (as they relate to emergency 管理); legal environment and disaster laws.
• Utilize technology such as GIS, 全球定位系统(GPS), 管理信息系统, 应急通信, Interoperability communications and computer skills.
• Demonstrate understanding of national 响应 framework, local emergency operation plans, and 响应 agreements/memorandums of understanding.
